“Beauty is powerful.”

The daughter of a hairstylist, I grew up in a house where beauty and creativity took center stage. As a child, I watched my mother transform one woman after another with color, cuts (and yes, perms too). I loved watching women leave my mother’s salon looking beautiful and feeling their best. To me, beauty has always been very powerful.

As a young adult, my parents, understanding only the service aspect of the industry, steered me away from beauty as a career and toward almost anything else. As a result, my first job was on Wall Street as a Marketing Associate for J.P. Morgan. Three years later, I knew I’d made a huge mistake and found my way back to my true passion – beauty – the industry I have had the pleasure and extreme honor of working in for over 20 years.”
